West Pub is a repetitive song for a good mind driving and at the same time it turns very physical. Cardo & Elia whose numerous releases and remixes as a solo have already gained a lot of fans in the last years, bring us a tight remix that is fulled with beautifull and hot details. The first release of Sui Generiz is an EP that will, for sure, suit a lot of electronic music lovers with very different tastes because of its quality, beauty and versatility. Blue EP is its name.
After the sucess the ep in vinyl format that got big support and got sold out really quickly at the stores now we release it in digital for you.
On the A side we have two real pieces of art from the well known artist, Zentex (Traum/Boxer/Resopal/Bloop/Minisketch/Archipel). The first song, that gives the name to the EP, Blue, is a wonderful dissertation through the deepest paths of music. A beautiful trip to your mind.
Orbitalia, the second song is more punchy and has a very powerful feeling with its strong chords and magical piano.
On the B side, First we have a remix from the Belgian producer, Ji-Fi. Techno/dubstep fusionists Lost Souls Recordings return with their third single release, this time from dark and dubby Alpha Rhythm.

The label has made an instant impact with its early releases from Misc. and Perc garnering support from DJs as diverse as Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Meat Katie, Lauhaus Lanting and DJ Chloe. And with the Lost Souls club night a staple in London's burgeoning club scene it's easy to see why the LS boys are tipped as one to watch this year.

The 'Big K EP' is built around two original cuts from Alpha Rhythm, 'Big K' and 'Light Sleeper'. The former is a twisted and choppy slice of techno driven on by a breakbeat rhythm section, edgy synth lines compete with effected vocal hooks to create an edgy and intense floorfiller. 'Light Sleeper' takes a dubstep centric tack with a deep and destructive bassline line providing the undercarriage for a dark and dubby track that is both haunting and hypnotic. Great stuff.

First of the two remixes comes from M_nus artist Gaiser who gets to grips with 'Big K', cutting away the broken beats and turning in a stripped and minimal reworking. Simple but effective edits of the vocal sit perfectly in the sparse soundscape and the track as a whole is a perfect alternative to the energy packed original.

Closing the package, Hotflush recordings man Scuba brings his dubstep toolbox to bear on 'Light Sleeper' providing an exceptional reimagining that shows why this man is so sought after as a producer and remixer.
